Your Financial Commitment
Payment Structure: Your child’s educational journey at Houghton Nursery School and Jen’s Baby Care Centre is structured from January 2025 to October 2025, spanning 10 months of enriching experiences.
Timely Payments: We kindly request that school fees be paid in advance for each month. You have the flexibility to choose between electronic funds transfer (EFT) or in-person payments at the school – card payments with the Yoco card machine.
Cash Payments: For the safety of your children and the staff no cash payment will be accepted.
At Houghton Nursery School and Jen’s Baby Care Centre, we strive to make every aspect of your child’s experience as smooth and convenient as possible. Your commitment to their education is a partnership, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Children will ONLY be allowed to attend school in the new year/term if all outstanding fees are settled and your account is up to date – alternatively please contact the Administration Department on 064 829 0997 to make an arrangement.
2. All school fees need to be paid by the 1st of each month January to October.
3. Absenteeism and rebates
No rebate will be granted if the child is absent for any part of any term owing to illness or otherwise.
4. Notice / cancellation fee
The equivalent of 2 months fees will be levied if we do not receive a written notice regarding the removal of your child from the school. Please communicate via email to admin@houghtonnurseryschool.co.za or send a Whatsapp to 064 829 0997.
5. Overdue accounts will be charged interest and any account which exceeds our terms will be handed over to our debt collectors.
6. Extra mural activities are for parents own account. HNS is not responsible for these activities and payments must be made to the provider and descrepancies must be addressed with the provider of the extra mural activity.
7. All consumables ie nappies, formula, nappie rash cream etc to be provided by parents.
